Ok so I have been planning and planning for months for this first wedding that I am doing tomorrow afternoon. It is or possibly was an outdoor wedding. I drove out to the location last weekend to do my timing and preparations. It is a beautiful spot for outdoor photography.

It has been raining for 4 weeks now. I feel like we should build an arc as I don't think it will ever stop!

Anyways... the weather is calling for rain today and overnight 10mm. Tomorrow will be cloudy with the possibility of more showers. Not sure if there will be heavy or light rain. You can't count on our weather forecasts. Praying that there won't be any water left by tomorrow. Haha!

The location is a waterfront park with gazebo, botanical gardens (there is some shelter with brick archways outside and a golf club (where the reception will be held). More than likely the ceremony will now be held indoors at the golf club. I still really want to get outdoor shots for the group and romantic shots.

I need some help with creativity. I have some ideas but would love it if people could share with me some pictures of weddings where they were stuck working with....rain. (Ugh)

HELP!!!!

Shooting in the rain is not bad, bring some plastic bags to cover your gear, a few umbrellas and have the bridal party walk around with it, then the b&g, and do some creative shot with the umbrellas.

Unlike you, we've had ~100 degree Fahrenheit here for the last month, and will be hotter this July. I'd love to shoot in the rain instead of this oven.

I recall seeing some beautiful rain shots on Aleksandras Babicius's site once.
(What am I saying, all of his shots are beautiful.)

You might want to take a gander over there.

Thank you so much! I think I am ready. I have the umbrellas set to go.
