I like the second one better. The first one looks a little weird with the softness in the upper left. What is causing the green tint in the water, silt?

Those are sort of boring. Sorry. Maybe if you had adjusted the framing some to include more of that bush it'd be a bit more interesting. Honestly, though, I don't think there's much more you could have done with that particular little waterfall.

thanks guys. as for the green in the water, i have no clue heh
i do agree that the pics are a bit boring, but it was impossible to get any other shots because there were "POSTED" signs staying stay off the property

Here is a suggestions on taking waterfalls. Water flows...it flows till it stops or enters a larger part of a waterfront.
Try to capture the flow as well as the waterfall itself. This gives the viewer "a destination" to follow. It works extremely well when your water flows out of the frame.
