I really like the way the surface tension of the water surface is captured here, but I'd say you need to crop it down much more and get the bug out of the center of the frame. . You seem to have enough detail to zoom in some more.

Thank's for that bobber, it would have been better cropped and zoomed, i will try it next time.

Would that be an appropriate use of the rule of thirds? I'm new to photography.
