2009 RI Airshow - Blue Angels

These were taken on Saturday the 27th, when it was sunny and very few clouds in the sky...

I was not actually at the air show. I was at my Mom's house about a mile away on the roof of her garage.

Both taken with a 24-70, @ 70mm.

The blue sky doesn't match between the 2 because I was trying different processing techniques on them. I think I like the result of the first one better....

Nice.

Regarding the problem on the sky if you use correctly level and layer mask on postwork only on the part of the image that you want modify the result often will be better.

Well, a mile from the airshow... but they fly all over southern RI. They spend a good amount of time right over my Mom's house because it is right in line with the runway at Quonset.
