Hi Everyone:

Some quick shots of my 240 at a local USP Plant. They came out ok to me, but C/C is welcome :D

Car: 1997 240sx, with an SRswap.

Don't mind the chips or the 'non painted' bumper. I track this car twice a month if possible...so high speed chips and the bumper got 'ran over' when I had a caliper blow a seal, which sent me offroading in the Pocono infield. New one will be painted soon.

These were takin with my Rebel XT I used my Canon 70-300, Sigma 10-20, Canon 28-135 and Canon 50 f 1.8 for the pics.

Really liking 2 + 4 myself, number 4 especially, get it printed and on the wall!

With 1 + 3 the red piping in the bg is distracting my eye took much, number 5 isn't as good as the rest imo and in number 6 the white line behind the car travelling mirror to mirror distracts me along with the flash hotspot on the bumper, but I like the pipe reflection on the left front side.

Always fancied a 200SX as they are over here, either this or the previous model.

Nice ride! I kind of like the stance & mood of #4, but it's not sharp & I see that you still haven't read the "Tips" thread? ;)

hehe I knew I'd get yelled at ;)

I hate how that pic isn't sharp either.....as I do enjoy that pic the most. I was trying to use manual focus as much as possible, and I guess I missed that one :(

Next time! I just upgraded my body (T1i) so I'm hoping to have alot more fun now :D

Nice pics.

I followed your car on zilvia for a long ass time. My name over there is 1cleanS13. I had the white s13 hatch on takata green TE37s making similar power to your car. 383whp and 373wtq. I miss that car! Sold it and have a 350z now.

I did some cropping / adjusting for one of the shots. Dunno if it really ended up as good as I thought but it would have been nice with original picture.

Hehe. I really need to log back on. I needed a Zilvia break....

...however I do recall your car very well. Can't miss the wheels :D How do you like the Z33? That's one car I'd love to move into someday as well.

Thanks! The wheels were a gamble on my end, but I wanted something 'oemish' and light.....so these fit the bill perfectly.

WOW! That makes it look much better! Thanks a million for that, I'll hafta see if I can rotate the original..perfect background for me (Or I'll just post the original so I don't mess it up)

It runs pretty good hehe - Car weighs in just under 3000 lbs with me in it (full interior/ac/rollbar/etc etc). I've got a 4.63 final drive in the car, namely because I take it to HPDE and Road Course Events...so ti runs pretty good. I love when guys come up and ask 'what's that got under the hood'...I just tell them 'a little 2 liter' hehe.

Nice car, I think my only suggestions would be to experiment with more unpredictable angles. Make the picture tell a story, as oppose to straight center shots. Play with ROT and, framing, converging lines, vanishing points, etc. Here is an example of an evo I shot to give you an idea:

Its not bad. Obviously WAY slower but just the comfort of a newer car is nice. Love how the car feels and handles. Such a better chassis than the 240s. I've only really done basic bolt ons but the best thing I did was the 4.08 final drive. That is the first thing I will suggest any Z/G owner does first.

I like the Z platform but I am already getting kinda bored and I wish I had more space so I am looking at getting into a 06+ Lexus GS350 and doing the VIP thing and just have a nice comfortable quiet cruiser. Damn, I'm getting old lol.
