I posted this in the landscapes section, but I didn't get any feedback - whether that's the product of a poor photo or the fact that it's not really a standard landscape shot, I'm not sure- any thoughts on that? I'm open to it all. I hope I'm not breaking any rules with a repost - if I am feel free to have me delete the other one, but it's days buried in landscape.

Anyway, I was trying some new things out here. I got a 6-stop ND filter, and placed my polarizer on top of it for this one. It was an 8 second exposure, with a slight curves adjustment in photoshop and I added a slight motion blur to the clouds. Does this intrigue you? Work for you? I tried to keep it minimalist but still make you look.

I like this! /for me the distinction with the hues is fabulous. It does break the centered "mantra" but for me, this totally works. Well done!

This does work for me. I like it a lot! Long exposures are so much fun.

good picture and worth hanging on the wall. Do you think a stategically placed seashell would make the image better or worse?

Doesn't do it for me. The foreground is too bright and the mismatch between the clouds and their reflections keeps catching my eye.

I think the luminance of the foreground matches the clouds and the foreground is not reflected clouds but drifting sand

Yeah, the vertical movement is the water coming in/out. Not sure if that is what you were referring to, imagine?

Im no critique lord or anything, but it deffo works for me.. I really like the shot.. And would be proud to have that framed in my bedroom, hall or living room wall.

May only con would be maybe alittle over done? but i would be nit picking if i was to say that to be fair..
