geez...i really want this lens but i also don't want to pay close to full price for one....i guess buying new isnt such a bad idea considering you can get it new for less than $20 more than that auction

US$555? I could have just bought a new one, with warranty. Didn't the person check or shop around?

I know. that's why i passed six EF 100-300mm lenses listed on eBay before i got my at a good price. Patience will bring u great reward. ;)
