I'm always looking for excuses to borrow my friends and go out and practice shooting. My best friend never got a chance to do engagement pictures and her 2 year wedding anniversary is coming up so she asked me to do something similar to E-Pics. Here's some from the day! C & C is more than welcome.

Thank you. If I recall, I believe all I did for that pic was lowered the saturation and upped the contrast.

Thank you also. I'm pretty happy with them, I'm trying to work on posing ideas so it's great to have friends that know you're still practicing to work with. She already had a few blown up to 8 x 10's for the family room lol!

These are a great set - any husband/wife would just love them! I need to get my married friends out for their year anniversary to do some shots - hope they come out as nice :) #10 is also my favorite - very intimate and romantic, the post processing really adds to the feel.

Disclaimer: I'm no pro, or even close, but here's some C&C:
1. Looks good, but I think it might have been better if they had been looking at each other, rather than have her look at the camera.
2. The blown highlights on his shirt and her hand are very distracting--I'd try finding some open shade or shoot at a different time of day. The lighting also looks quite uneven, so my eyes wander to the back of his shirt rather than to her eyes.
3. The composition looks good, but I think they should either both look at the camera or better yet, at each other.
4. I think I like this one. Did you also try another version where her head isn't cut off to see how they compare?
5. Looks good, plain and simple.
6. I wonder if the shot without the heads cut off looks better or not.
7. Not a bad idea, but his face does not look engaged in this picture. Also, maybe try some fill flash, her face is quite dark. I'd also try a perspective closer to the couple.
8. I don't like the angle that much. First, he's cut off in a rather unfortunate manner. Also, his right arm obstructs both his and her faces. I'd try an angle from the right.
9. Good idea--I'd move the basket in the back out of the way, though, and take the shot from a slightly different perspective (a little to the left).
10. I really like this one.
11. Good idea, but his posture isn't quite ideal--maybe try getting all his fingers in, or have him lie differently and don't get his hand in at all.
Nice set of pictures.
