lucky you! i just got back from waddington show today and vulcan didn't fly (no surprise there) - apparently it came in thursday but it failed a test which prevents it from flying. they couldn't even fire her up. she was just park there by the runway.

That is such a shame it did not fly and unfortunately it happens from time to time especially with the older aircraft.

I bet a lot of people went to the show mainly to see the Vulcan and will be disappointed.

It wasn't anything mechanical. They coundn't get the permit to fly. With my luck they will have it up today, as I'm now at home(just my luck). Pics are nice and I have some from the show that I'll try to put up later.

doubt they flew the vulcan today. they said on the radio yesterday that no chance it would fly today and they'll just post on their website when they'll be departing waddington so people can at least see it take off.
