Took a bunch of photos this past Feb at the Festiglace in Quebec. I'm super new to photography so I'd love to hear some comments or critiques. All were taken with a 300D and Sigma 18-50 f/2.8.

Nice photos, but I would really like to see some close up shots of the climbers. If you don't have a long zoom try to rent one from a local camera shop when you know an event is coming up and you'll score some sweet shots. Good work though.

Not the right lens to use for this particular situation like retro said.

I like the wide angle lens to give perspective to the hugeness of this but it would also be nice to do some with a good zoom lens for more detail. These are very nice.

I appreciate the comments, I'm currently saving up for a decent telephoto zoom. I'll definately have one for next year's climbing season though...
