The following link will take you to Canon's download site and look for USB371 file. THis is the driver I am using with Win 2000 and MicroTech USB reader, Breezebrowser and PhotoShop successfully.

It is well known that Microsoft Windows NT has no built-in support for USB. Nevertheless there are third party USB drivers suporting Windows NT. Example: Bsquare, Edgeport. Just go to www.google.com and search for "Windows NT USB drivers".
I installed Inside Out Networks "Edgeport" USB drivers from www.ionetworks.com/support/epdrivers.html. This USB driver works on my Windows NT without a problem and detects Canon Powershot G1 Camera.
The problem is that Canon Software will find out that the OS is Windows NT and will not not support this USB driver. Only a support for Serial ports will be added.
Canon utility USB371.exe is an USB TWAIN Driver and supports only Windows 98/Windows Me/Windows 2000.

Ok. I downloaded the usb drivers from "Edgeport" and it detects my G1 camera. Now do I get my software (Adobe PS and Canon software) to access my camera?

It's still only have the option to connect through the Com ports.
