LOUISE
Thes are three lovely shots. I like them all because I love winter, and shadows on the snow. So the feeling comes throug. Especially in 1 & 2.
- I find the 3rd a bit weak because it lacks a strong subject.
- the 2nd has a bit of lens flare. You might be able to tone that down in PS by darkening the blue to grey. Also, I might have tried to crop to the bench and forget the half tree, although the mid-ground tress are a treat.
- the 2nd is my favourite because of the sanctuary, and the snow laden evergreen. The blue birdhouse comes off fine.
I would try to shoot again in the early morning and late afternoon when the shadows are longer and the color may be more yellow and red. (I find my G2 is a bit too blue with snow and that glorious shine and quiet does not make it to the image.

PS: Consider ways to strengthen subject, composition, and framing via my post re "critique" under Talk About Photography and Kodak's online "How to.."

thanks for the comments,
i too agree that the panorama lacks subject material but for some reason i still like to look at it.
i also noticed that snowy photos can also come out very blue with my camera,
see these ones,

but in a way it adds to the feeling of coldness in the picture
i too liked the snow laden evergreen,
see http://www.columbia.edu/~ld2040/personal/pictures/Snow%20Bird%20House1.jpg for a closer shot!
thanks again,

I like these shots, including the panorama. But the pano looks curved, I'd prefer it straightened.
There's a lot of helpful information on all aspects of panorama technique at www.panoguide.com
