a little BBQ fun

Here's a couple from our bbq today. I just got my camera back from Canon after getting the shutter replaced. :D

These were taken with the old nifty fifty. I also have a 28-135 and on two separate occasions now I've gotting crappy shots with it. Maybe it needs to be looked at too? Not sure. I was worried that the camera body came back funny but this 50mm rocked it today in the overcast weather.

Thanks for the compliment, your right, her eyes are gorgeous...I'm going to be in trouble when she gets older and the boys start coming around!

beautiful set! loving the colors, mind sharing your technique? do you add a color action?

No color action here, I just messed around in RAW until I thought it looked good. I usually bump up the contracts, the blacks and over expose it a tiny tad. Then a level adjustment in CS4 and some dodging/burning on the eyes. Sometimes a little sharpening, sometimes not. I'm still learning with the photoshop. :)
