I saw this on embdude (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/member.php?find=lastposter&t=718499)'s signature, in his blog, and thought downloaded it for firefox.

It looks pretty cool..it's a plug in that you put on your internet browser and then you can search to see how many people may be using your image at places on the web you aren't aware of.

I haven't tried it with many of my images but it looks neat. Kind of a simple way to search the web for infringement cases
I've always wondered about getting software like this.

Thought I would share
Tin Eye (http://tineye.com/)

I found it on:
Free Photo Stuff Blog (http://freephotostuff.blogspot.com/2009/05/keep-track-of-where-your-photos-are.html)

I have 8,500 images on my site. If I tried to search the web for each and every one, that's all I'd be doing and I'd never be able to do any shooting or processing...

Yeah you're right, I suppose it's just a novelty thing really or the baby steps to (hopefully) something larger. It doesn't recognize images by their content; just their size and their similarities to the file uploaded originally.

If you don't want to do it via a browser plugin, you can search directly via the search site. Tineye.com (http://tineye.com/).
