Anyone know where I might find these in stock in the UK? EVERYWHERE I try is out of stock, It's becoming a little tiresome trying to find the little buggers!

The site dosn't say about stock levels, but probably worth giving them a call

Just an FYI, all the stockists (speed graphic, robert white, warehouse express, e.t.c.) actually get their Elinchrom gear from the Flash Centre who are the only UK distributor - they all tend to get their stock at the same time and run out of stock at the same time. If you call up the flash centre they should be able to let you know if anyone has any stock and when there will be more delivered.

OH, and Robert White is usually the most expensive and the least likely to have anything in stock (which is presumably why they don't give any information about stock levels).

I tried Robert White along with about 6 other places with no luck, I'll give the flash centre a call and see what the state of play is.

Just get it from B&H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/505378-REG/Elinchrom_EL_19352_EL_Skyport_Universal_Radio_Slav e.html/BI/2312/KBID/3114). Costs a bit more in shipping but it'll turn up pretty quickly.

Well in many EU countries you have to pay import duites and vat so its not only the shipping that will cost extra.

It's a good suggestion but I need the EU versions too, What difference it makes I don't know but I'd rather wait and buy the right thing straight off the bat.

Yeah, They couldn't tell me, Apparently Elinchrom are keeping tight lipped about the next batch, Makes me wonder is there is a MKII version on the cards??

I hope they come up with a transmitter with a screw lock, i'd upgrade. If the price was ok or they offered a trade-in program.

Hmmm...I was hoping to upgrade my Cactus V2s set to Skyport trigger & 3 receivers before I go off on holiday in 2 weeks.

Ordering anything just before a holiday is just asking for trouble. I can almost guarantee stock or shipping issues will have them arrive one hour after you leave for your holiday, i've seen it happen time and time again. Get anything you need well in advance of needing them. Don't forget Skyport receivers need to be charged overnight before they can be used.

lol...luckily, they're not a necessity for this trip. I've just purchased a couple of 2nd hand flash guns and decided that it would be a good time to upgrade my trigger set up.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'll be able to pick some up before my main holiday later in the summer :)

Holiday and "off camera flash" aren't words i'd use in the same sentence. I don't use OCF portably without an assistant. And I suggest not referring to your significant other as an assistant!
