I am at work tonight and hubby posted this http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=71914 as a tease I am sure.

Anybody want to guess what it might be? I don't get home for 4 more hours and I'm sure I won't be allowed to open it until tonight..........Sigh.....

Whatever it is, I'll post a photo of it tomorrow (Saturday).

I don't think it's a lens, the box is not that big...more like a "personal" item.

Based on the size of the box, I'd say that its a multicoated 77 mm circular polarizer filter. Nothing but the best.

It's really hard to tell the depth of the box - it looks like its only about an inch from front to back, but that may well be deceptive. It could be big enough to hold a 50 mm f/1.4 lens. :)

Based on the clues my guess is either a 16-35L or a 17-40L, with leaning towards 17-40L, although hoping for you it is a 16-35L

Me too:lol: :lol: ...... the box is still in hiding so I can't even make a guess from the outward size/appearance. Stay tuned, will post a photo of whatever it is tomorrow.
