Hi,

Is there a website software that plays hd video playback?
I have my own website and would like to play videos from there rather than Vimeo or Youtube.
I guess I am looking for a video software equivalent to what slideshow pro does for pictures.

Just put it in Youtube then embed it into your page.

What software are you using for your website? Most applications or web-based interfaces have include tools for posting videos. You would either upload them to your web host's server, or have to host it yourself somewhere (which is, of course, the reason why most people host on vimeo/youtube and embed).

Upload your video to Vimeo.com (or Youtube) and then embed the video on your webpage.

You don't wan to stream your HD video directly from your website because the bandwidth costs will be astronomical, even if only a few people actually watch it.
