That's a nice Stook. The pictures, especially the first one, came out good, though I would have preferred a shallower depth of field on them.

I usually take a couple of test shots in AV mode, to determine the ideal aperture value for a desired DOF. Then I switch to M and and use shutter speed to get an ideal exposure. I always shoot at the lowest possible ISO, to eliminate noise. At night, you may need a tripod to stay below ISO 400, and still have a sharp image.

If you would have shot it with a Canon, you caould have blurred the BKG in-camera

lol j/k .. IMO they are ok shots (could have paid a lil more attention to framing detail, such as the positioning of light posts in bkg and parking blocks etc..) but very COOL car

i envy you man
like those shots especially the s2k
I've always wanted an S2K since it came out but i have to plan for the coming first baby
I love the 9K redline--winding up the rev is exhilarating

anyway i looked at your blurred background version, it's nice except fo the halo effect
if you have a CS try using the lens blur feature

1 time blurred a pic and came out like that
so i selected the subject with lasso tool, copied it to new layer and enlarged the
subject enought to cover the halo effect
I'm sure there's another way of bluring without halo, but ii haven't found it yet

Thats a great little car, definately doesn't look like a Honda. Nice shots.
