Got everything setup, thought I was in a great location. Then the fireworks started... They were over to the right about 10-15 feet further than I thought. Unfortunately there was a building that I wasn't able to get around. Gotta say that my tripod and Phottix wireless shutter release worked great!
This one was an 8 sec exposure.

I really like it - though i feel it could use a bit more color and it seems to have a decent red tint to it.
Obviously that building placement is not ideal - but i think it might be a little crooked?
Try setting the corners of the building on a straight line to get the horizon nice and even.
Overall, though, you did much better than i did on my first fireworks attempt!

Very nice!
Good capture - good exposure - good composition.
If I could get a little more of the foreground so that there is a foundation for the building it would help the composition.
