It's funny how you guys get bumped into with deers and down under its kangaroos! When I was out bushwalking I finally decided to lift my head up from studing the mesh of plants and rocks to come within metres of a mob of wallabys just as startled as I was, each of us didn't move and just looked at one another for what seemed like minutes(sure it was only seconds). Then each preceeded on our merry way.
