I have been presented with the opportunity to shoot some wedding pictures in San Francisco. I was curious what some of you view as the 'Key Shots' to get on location in SF. Obviously a shot with Golden Gate bridge in the background, but what else?

Furthermore, what insight can you give me in regards to shooting in SF in early August? I've heard it is not the ideal time, given fog in the morning?

Thanks for your help!

Fog can help a lot and have some really nice effects, just go shoot some test shots at golden gate park. steps inside of the city hall, fort point, marin headlands, legion of honor, bakers beach, twin peaks of course, but legion of honor usually gets you great shots. There is also the rose garden in golden gate park, the windmills.... cliff house sutro park, maybe some fun loving shots in north beach...

I freaking LOVED the weddings I've shot in San Francisco BECAUSE of the fog! Look at fog as soft light all over your subjects' faces - not as pictures without a blue sky ;)
