awesome. they look clear and crisp.

what processing did you do on these?

the sun was really harsh for being only about 9am so I gave them a little bit of an HDR look in Topaz adjust. for others I tried to just edit the highlights, curves, levels, etc.

Yes. That's how those are all done. (At least I'm pretty sure no one here is using an actual tilt shift lens.)

There's a generic online version:

and there are several Photoshop tutorials out on the interwebby thingy...

Have fun! It gets kinda addictive for a bit... viewing that thread certainly will not help fight the addiciton... :D

I dont have the originals with me to play around with but does the online version usually work? seems like alot of work in PS :cool:

HA! Told ya! I haven't used the online version. There are some steps to it in PS, but you have more control of everything in PS, and after you do it a few times, it's no big deal...

Very cool shots. I grew up in Chicago, and it's still my favorite city in the country. No other place will ever feel like home to me.
