My nephew has a Canon GL2 that needs its tape deck repaired. Does anybody knows the cost of doing this at Canon ?

If they Send it to Irvine CA...its about 200 Flat as far As I know

Flat for any repair or is this specifically for the tapedeck?

Well I sent one in for repair...It wouldnt allow me to Playback. when I got it Back it they claimed to have did a total overhaul on the internals...I wish I could be more specific But thats all I know..

Well I brought it into the Canon office in Honolulu Hawaii they shipped it out..I payed $200 + tax...
