View Full Version : Anyone selling Lightsphere II in Europe?

I found this cool gadget that I think might be useful while taking flash shots, but I was shocked to see the shipping price to Europe. The gadget cost under $40 USD and they wanted $26 USD for the shipping!!

How much can a plastic "can" weigh??

NO way I'm going to pay that money and even risk the package get caught in custom and I'll have to pay custom fee's and sales taxes (25% in Sweden) to boot. That's gonna be a plastic can worth about $100 USD!

So, any Europeans, know if someone sells it here in Europe (within EU the tax problem should be no problem and the shipping just have to be less)??

LOL! Well, I've been unlucky, the email bounced back. But I spoke to a guy I trust and he said he know the owner of that site (some guy who works as a photographer at one of the larger newspapers in Sweden), so I'm going to give him a call instead and tell him his email is down and then ask for a price. Keep fingers crossed! :)

Nope, didn't get hold of them. Had a friend order it to his address in NYC and he's now shipping it (cheaper) to me. I'm a bit PO'd about this. Oh well... at least I'll get my LS in a week or so.
