too much blurr. it's overwhelming to me.

in my supremely amateur opinion, it would be better if there wasn't so much stuff in the background. that way you could do less of a blurr to hide it.

by the way the cat is looking i dont think you need to the effects.

The blur doesn't draw attention to the cat, it distracts attention away. It's straining on the eye.

I like the comp and the subject, but the blur effect is too much IMO...especially the 2nd image.
