I just got my hands on a Gl2 and i am looking to buy a shotgun mic and an on camera light..
the two Products I am thinking of purchasing mount onto the advanced hot shoe on the camera...

Is there any hot shoe "splitter" or accessorie that will allow me to use both devices at the same time.

One option....
Get a different mic. Azden has a few shotgun mics in the same price range that have their own internal battery and plug into the 1/8" audio input jack on the GL2.
Then you can get a $10 straight flash bracket that will add a cold shoe as a side car to your camera.

I used the 4inch extender (The version with hotshoe) on my 5DII. I put a Zoom h4n mounted on a http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/272777-REG/Manfrotto_by_Bogen_Imaging_482LCD_482LCD_Micro_Bal l_Head.html on one side and a Rode NTG-3 mounted on a pearstone supension (with hotshoe mount) on the otherside and it was pretty nicely usable.

I also have the longer hotshoe extender and was considering it for adding a light (one of those litepanels). However, 5D video at H1 (ISO 128000) is actually pretty respectable for my needs as long as the audio is good, so probably will never use it.
