Testing the visual differences using color space criteria. This is very old Sassafras Tree.

First photo posted after conversion to sRGB

Second photo posted as Adobe RGB directly out of PS.

Can you tell any difference?

As should be the case,. the 1st pic has richer more saturated colors.

Which is which? Top one looks more saturated, and the bottom looks more natural? Both are great shots, how did you mean for them to come out? Thanks for doing the thread.

You do realize that this thread will probably become very popular, given that it says "Pay No Attention".

BTW, the sRGB looks oversaturated a bit to me.

Thanks for the comments......interesting that "theman" and "Tom W" are both reporting from Chattanooga....Absolutely beautiful city now that downtown development has cleaned up the industrial smog of 25-30 years ago. Love to visit! By the way, I posted the original with a bit of oversaturation on purpose just to see how much it was affected by Adobe RGB. I think I now have the answer why a lot of my previous posts have been washed out in appearance ......

There's 3 or 4 of us 'Noogans on the forum. :)

Yes, the city is great. I enjoy going downtown with a couple of lenses and shooting whatever suites me. Y'all feel free to visit any time you want.
