Looks like a storm brewing behind this old farmhouse. If I had it to do over again, I would create separation between large tree and house. what do you think? After you comment, we'll all take the abandoned schoolbus in the back and go home. - Tom

I agree, tbird... a little separation between the house and tree would be good. That's a great tree... looks as old as the house! I like everything about this photo... beautiful range of colors, wonderful sky, sharp picture.

I will second or third that thought. The house and tree are so much the same color that you need to force the seperation between the two. It could probably also be a smidge sharper... though the origianl might be. If it were mine, I would also play a little bit with light levels and see if you can get more detail out of the clouds giving the image more drama. Great subject matter though - we have a bunch of stuff like this here in NC too and I have thought of doing a series on the decaying old south... before it is all bulldozed into new neighborhoods.

I will agree, all is great, colors, sharpness, saturation, sRGB, sky.....just needs a little separation and warm low light either in the morning or the evening.

This was a guick play in photoshop. I selected the tree, inversed it, and adjusted the levels on the rest of the photo. I think it adds a little contrast between tree and house. maybe playing with the contrast some would make a difference in the two.
