I went to a local nursery a few days ago. I'm always hesitant to change lenses because I'm afraid dust will get into the camera, so I used the 70-200mm that was already on the camera. Any suggestions on how I can improve this image? Does it look sharp to you? Too saturated? Thanks for your help!

I really like that! The background colours are great!

I think the blue background is too distracting, so I agree that you work a little on saturation...but like the photo overall...

Skade - I'm my worst critic, so thank you for the encouragement!
Thanks, Raw - You're right... the background doesn't look very natural.

I love the lighting, all those creases makes it look like tissue paper. I think the other flower in the background might server better if it was more to the side: it has enough acuity to be a little distracting being split by the stem. But sometimes spacing can be limited.
The way the background shading angles down looks cool too. :)
I'm always too chicken to bring a camera into a nursery or a store. I get too self-conscious.

Thanks, Dkord. I will eventually bring this nursery a few matted prints to thank them for putting up with me and my camera!

Great shot and I think the background colour makes it.
