Is there a wholesaler?

I was considering selling some of my sports photos and such. Nothing major just stuff I do for fun. I was wondering if I had a Business License, is there somewhere to buy new gear at wholesale prices instead of retail? I tried doing a search and didn't come up with anything. Thanks.

Well, there's EBay if you're careful and know what you're doing for used and some new stuff. Or. many of us shop B&H, Adorama, Henry's, Penn..... etc.

I have a business license but I can only get the best price I can find, which is not wholesale. But since I pay taxes on my business, I can get a legitimate deduction. So, if I'm in the 25% tax bracket and buy something for $1000, after my tax guy runs the calculations I effectively pay at most $750 for it. Sometimes there's a bigger tax break (lower effective price) depending upon income for that year.
