Congrats!!!! It's the greatest feeling in the world, and you never run out of subjects for photos.. My son is only 8 1/2 months old but he cracks the hugest smiles when he sees the camera come out.. Must have trained him...haha! And we do a monthly photo shoot as we are stuck here in Guam with the USAF so the grandparents aren't near so I send the pictures to them every month! Enjoy it though, it goes by so fast! I can't believe my monkey is already almost 9 months old!!! Congrats again!

I would reccomend immediately getting some USm lenses for fast moving children and some lowlight lenses.

One can only hope that their child will make the right choices in life. But I'm prepared to love them even if they choose another path. ;)

Thank you! You know, it's still hard to believe that I'm pregnant. I'm only 5 weeks along and I don't feel any different, so I have to keep reminding myself! I can't wait to meet the little guy/girl!!

Hmm...you have an EXCELLENT point. 24mm 1.4L here I come! :) I can just see my husband's face now...but it's for the baby, right? Maybe I can register for it...

Unlike CDS above, I don't think "Rebel" is a good name. You should call him/her 500D. :p

Serious though, if it's a boy call him: Pekka Othelo Tim Neptune (get it?! :lol: ).

Ha! That's not even funny, twins run in my family. My mom is a twin, and I hear it usually skips a generation.

I'll post a poll about it, but they only let you have 500 choices and only 15 minutes to make the poll... so I might not make it will all the name choices.

Maybe a poll for a girl's name and a poll for a boy's name.

OR we could save a lot of trouble and just call him/her "Junior". :lol:

On a seriouserer note. This is how we chose my kids names:
I went through a baby name book and chose ANY name I thought would be OK (took a long time).
I gave my wife that list and she crossed out all names she didn't like (which narrowed it down quite a bit)
I went over the approved list and cross out any names I'd decided were a bit lame or whatever.
We chose from the left over names (ie the best).

That's how I came up with the names "Stealthy" for the boy and "Ninja" for the girl. :lol: (J/K)

Everybody is telling you to buy L lenses for the upcoming event. Like the event doesn't cost enough already all by itself.
