I like the 7.
But the 3 and the 8 with a flash (clearly if you could find near the subject) could be interesting.
Now are underexposed.

Note:
If you choice "editing ok" someone could do some experiment in postwork to see how remedy some shoot.

Thanks but i wasn't going to use a flash with the sun blazing away. Just caught some riders in the shadows. a ring flash would be ideal but i don't have the funds.

I think if you read some tutorial present in the forum and after that read the articles of strobits you will be surely surprised by the result that you can obtain even in these conditions. ;)

A, strobits aren't cheap. and B, not practical when on the start line for a major racing event.
most of the time its all spur of the moment & spontaneity.

It was an eye opener for me to be stood shoulder to shoulder with all the riders. First time i've done the whole press thing. It was amazing. great insight into what the riders get up to just seconds before they go off
