Few pics from the 'Bikin for burns' rally today...

Today was the Flint Bikin' for Burns charity motorcycle ride. It took over 45 minutes for all the cycles to pass the house, and there were several thousands of bikes.

It was a police escorted parade from Flint, MI to Clio, MI and supported burn victims.

Here are a ton of pics I picked out of the hundreds I took.

I used a custom white balance with a white-card, and for some reason, all of the photos came out slightly warm.


The quality sucks on these since I used the microsoft resizer powertoy, and it adds quite a bit of compression artifacts, but the originals are tack sharp, and look great.

I've never tried to set my own white balance, but your photos have such a nice warm quality that I want to give it shot. All of your photos have a quality that makes it look as if they were taken just before sunset.

I must say I like how they turned out. But they did come out a bit warm.

It was pretty cloudy and dreary earlier today when I took the photos, so I guess the warmness lightens up the mood a bit.

pictures are good, but i dont see enough variation

all the shots look the same, maybe try shooting from different location
