First of all I'm glad i found a site like this where photo enthusiast (and aspiring ones like me) can share, learn and improve their photo skills.

Anyway just wanna share a poicture of my first paid photo shoot of my co-worker
It started by showing them my baby's photo that i usually do collage and they started loving it.
Then they started asking me to do their portrait. I was scared at first (as i'm still). But the first experience turned out to be fun. We all enjoyed the photo shoot at their home---mom and dad screaming, making all these funny noises to get the twins' attention.

Pls feel free to pitch in your criticism-i'm here to share and learn.

One of my dilemma now is how to figure out how to charge clients.
My friends are encouraging me to open up my own studio, but i don't wanna get ahead of myself.

I used my 2-day old 20d and 50/1.4 and 24-70 2.8L for the photoshoot
Thanks guys

thank you all for the very kind words

All of that work was inspired by our first born baby boy.
I was just gonna document my wifes progress through the pregnancy and his coming to the world with my d rebel(for sale now).
Next thing I know I've gone too far as buying Photoshop and it went out of control from then.Wacom tablet--expensive canon lenses-20D--cards--so on and on!!!!

So here it is meet my little boy. These are couple of my earlier work--learning in progress

Woah!!! Amazing work! You definately should start doing this as like, a little side business. I wouldn't look into opening up a studio quite yet if your so new to it :-) but your work is fantastic, and you definately deserve, and should be paid for your work. It's beautiful. I love the way you set up the pictures in the collage, and I love the blur affect used on your sons first collage. Fantastic job, keep it up.

thanks again guys.

I'm actually working on my boy's 1 year old birthbay pics right now.
Hopefully i can come up with another layout for his collage

OFF TOPIC:
Maureen: i once worked in GOLETA(santa barbara) Cottage hospital a year ago and i worked
with an anesthesiologist with the same last name as yours. Just wondering coz he had CANON 10D at the time.

The collages are nice, but the group shot looks like the best of your work in this example. I really like the expressions on the parents faces. Do you mind posting that one alone as well?
