This is a picture taken earlier today of Sturt's Folly in Horton, Dorset, UK. It is a six storey tower built in the 17th century by a local landowner. His life revolved around hunting and when he became infirm and could no longer hunt, he built this tower so that he could observe the hunt from afar. Sadly it is now used as a mobile telephone transmitter. I am sure Sturt must be turning in his grave !
