I am still trying to learn how to do the hdr process and this is an image I worked on today. I think this one came out the best so far...as to what I had in mind for this shot. This is 3 images worked in Photomatix.

This is my Dads old 1956 John Deere Model 420T tractor, she looks rough but he had the motor rebuilt a few years ago and she runs like a top. My dad still uses her to cultivate his corn with and to bust up his rows in his gardens. All comments and critiques are welcomed and Thanks for looking. Hope ya enjoy.

Too much green, poor contrast too, and it doesn't stand out from the background. I'd almost suggest you put a flash behind the tractor, pointing towards the camera but with no direct line to it, to give it a bit of separation, like a hair light.

i agree with too much green. this is the right idea though. i'd probably shoot the tractor with the sky in the background for better contrast.

Good job processing, but Tim's right - even the second edit is too similar to the background. Either separate it with lighting or shoot from another angle removing the similar background.

I like the first one. Great render. I grew up on one of these tractors. :)
