so.. i decided i would give in and make a portfolio site... this is what i got so far... let me know what you guys think

---> http://www.raviangard.com (http://www.raviangard.com/)

(underlying truth; i decided to use the idea of a book first and fore most - because i did not want to watermark the photos in my portfolio - while keeping them attractive; i didn't want people to steal them and use them for other things - so with the line/glare/crease - its less likely someone take the time to edit it out rather than just finding another photo to jack)

also; i have taken over 40,000 photos in the last 2 years.. and i didn't want to put more than one photo per photoshoot.. these are more so like "samples?"

Beautiful photography, elegant website style...but I will say one thing, while elegant, my eyes bleed to read how small the font is and I've got 20/20 vision and a calibrated monitor.

Amazing work, though, definitely would love to see more

thanks man - after looking at it - i agree the text is small under the photos (but in a sense its just there for style) - i am going to make the contact page and navigation bigger though

thanks for your input :D

I dislike the horizontal scrolling.

The use of a 'book' design is very unique and interesting but I find my eyes drawn to the 'crease', too distracting.

That is what I was thinking.
