Hey guys,
I was wondering if I could get some C&C on this set I shot for my friends. Considering I split my pants in the beginning of the shoot, I'd like to think I did alright, haha.

I really like the lighting in the 7th pic and the B&W in the last pic is great. Overall, these seem a little underexposed to me. I think a reflector or some off camera lighting would have filled in their faces nicely and eliminated some of the darkness around their eyes.
Also, and this is a matter of personal taste, I have a hard time using the gundgy, urban look on a family. Seems sort of incongruous to me. What do you think? The park setting in the next to last image seems to be a much warmer and friendlier environment. What to you think? Do you typically do the urban/grunge sort of shooting?
Thanks!
Dan

Thanks for the input Dan. Do the shot's look underexposed to anyone else. I just got a new macbook so I'm still learning about screen calibration. It seems ok on my screen.
As for shooting families in urban settings, its just something I wanted to try out. I think the contrast between the subject and setting can be interesting sometimes. I took some in the park just in case i wasn't digging the urban setting though.

I really like them...they do not really seem underexposed to me, as much as it seems like its the PP you have done on them (which i like).

I think my favorite is #6. It really catches the typical father son shot well. It looks like it was a very natural shot and I really like that about it. They also don't seem to be underexposed to me, but thats from a beginner's eye ;)
