Went to the track day with a few photographers, including SDK^ who posts here. Here's the results (well after a few pictures of the people we were with's sweet sweet rides :))

The M3 CSL was tracking but the m5 on the left wasn't, I tell you though the m5 does move :D (thanks to the owner of it for givin me a ride to and from oulton:)

Thoughts on how to improve them would be nice, as well as opinions :) About 2/3rds of them were shot manual focus with my 135mm Zeiss in AV mode on the 20D, and about 1/3rd with the 100-400L IS that SDK^ let me try in TV @ 250th with AI servo and C.Fn4.3. The car park photos were with the kit lens though :o

All ISO100 of course :)

Cheers

Tom

thanks it was an experimental shot at 1/6th of a second,

this was my first attempt at motorsport panning except 2 or 3 shots of jet ski's on a lake last weekend as preperation :)

It was great to meet you, always good to put a name to a face :)

I know where they were taken from, as I work there. Why so heavily saturated? It spoils some nice shots.

KennyG, I'm think my monitor is waaaaaaaaaay off calibration wise :( They look pretty much dead on for saturation here, but I've had 2 comments about 2 different sets of photos that the saturation is too much....will have to look into gettin a better monitor, thanks for the comments.

hey kenny,

i've re-converted all the track images and moved the saturation in CS2's raw editor back to 0, are they any better?

thanks

tom.
