Hi Guys; Just found this page and I think is a blessing. Reading to all of you I realized that I'm not alone and most important. that there's a lot to lern.

I just got my EOS 10 and EF 17-40 and this is one of my first shots. What do you think??

Oh, this is the Bayside in Miami Beach. My Canadian friend loves to sail all the way from Canada and moor here for few weeks. I'm thrilled that the pic came up this good. I was very dark and I've shoot hand held at 1/10.

Double WOW!

First wow...the colours are magnificent!
Second wow...that is a hand held shot on a BOAT with a shutter speed of 1/10!

If you have any experience with Photoshop, I'd try to clone out the bow of the boat so it isn't part of the photo. For me it's a bit distracting to the real beauty of the photo...the water forground with a tremendous skyline highlighted with fantastic colours!

I agree with Elbee, but it is a great photo. You must have very steady hands.

i like the boat as it give forground intrest, and i think there would be to much sea without it .
