I am trying to do an image search on Google, no go, so I tried a normal Google search, can't even get the main page up!

Anyone else seeing this problem?

Yeh I tried to gmail last few minutes - NG!

Too late though, I tried Yahoo's image search and found just what I was after!

Still down in western US. I've seen Google go down before. It usually doesn't last long.

I use www.altavista.com for image searching, I think it's much better. I use www.alltheweb.com too, but I prefer the first :)

Hey, what does that mean Carzee? It confused me!

I noticed htat it was down. What's weird is I was instant messaging pugnugget and he was able to access it just fine!! How weird. I'm glad I wasn't the only one.

I tried a little while back and although Google itself was up and running some of the beta services were offline.

Maybe someone spilt some coffee on the keyboard. Or a cleaner unplugged google's computer to use a vacuum cleaner.

Yes, even here, all the way on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, it was temporarily down. Now it works again.

I read something about this today, it was a DNS attack of some kind, not sure of the details.
