I live in TX so I dont really want dell due to taxes. Let me know something guys!

I'd also be interested in knowing. I'm going to be buying soon, and I have no lenses, so I'm assuming my best bet would be the kit. I've found it for about 1350$ with the 100$ rebate at the cheapest. I will not buy such delicate equipment used either, so that isn't an option for me. It might be for Josh, dunno.

I did an extensive amount of research before buying mine Thursday night and the best I could find was for $1359 for the kit from buydig.com. I did find a few cheaper, but they are not authorized canon dealers, which means you don't get a US warranty. After the $1350, you get the $100 rebate from Canon, so for $1259 for the 20D kit, that ain't that bad!

Nope not for me either, I want it brand new...I already have a 50mm 1.8mk ii. I think the kits lens would be good for a while at less than 100 more.

Yep, thats exactly where I found mine. Found a few more dealers, but they looked sketchy. I won't be ordering mine for another few weeks though. I've thought about Ebay, but most were the same price as BuyDig if not more expensive.

According to ResellerRatings.com Buy Dig is an authorized Canon store, that is the same comment that B&H, Adorama, Abes of Maine, etc. have. Also every one of their ads online says "USA one year warranty". http://resellerratings.shopping.com/xPC-EOS_20D_with_18_55mm_Lens

I have purchased twice from Buydig and sent my friend to them also and both of us have been nothing but satisfied.

I'm extremely glad to hear that Icecamp. So far all I have really heard was 'Get it from B&H!', but they aren't usually priced right.

I've never bought camera stuff from buydig but I bought my ipod from them and had great, fast service. Definitely a trust-worthy place to buy expensive stuff.

buydig.com was great to deal with. I ordered it on Thursday night (late) and Friday morning I had a FedEx tracking number that shows that it is setting in Newark at the FedEx shipping Headquarters there waiting to come to me on Monday before 3 p.m.! I have to say, so far, I am impressed with them.
Icecamp...that's what I was saying. I was saying that buydig.com is an authorized dealer. A ton of others on the web aren't though. Of all of the authorized dealers, they had it the cheapest. Maybe my post was misleading. Sorry, I am starving and was when I wrote that as well. I was thinking more about food than what I was writing...LOL!
The kit that I ordered from buydig.com for $1359 before the $100 rebate includes the 18-55mm lens. *WITH A US WARRANTY

I wouldn't get overexcited about the 18-55 kit lens, IMHO it's pretty poor, perhaps my expectations were too high

Well, I'm an amateur with an A80 now, so I'm sure the kit lens will impress me.

Becareful when you use the term Amatuer. It only means you do it for recreation. And not for profit or better yet for at least 50% of your annual income.
Anyway I bought from Buydig before and got my Camcorder on time. By the way Beach Camera is their Parent Company.

Well, I am an amatuer. I work full time as a software programmer. Hopefully I'll get good enough to make some money off of it in the future.
