Got a chance to shoot another Hunters and Jumpers show today. Here are a couple of quick edits.

Struggled a bit with backgrounds and shadows at this ring. I am thinking I should have shot with a smaller aperture, F4-F7.1, to give me a larger DOF to keep the horse and rider in focus.

Nice timing on the shots. Cute hunters. Looks like some harsh sun, I feel for you, it's a real pain when it's like that out. I usually shoot jumping at 2.8 or just a hair over myself.

1 and 2 are best shots for the jump and the action but too bad about background. #3 is better background but not enough profile on the horse (for me anyway).
