Man I just sold one for a steal. $800 all shipping paypal insurance included. Oh it it included a CP filter. I played around with this lens for a while and almost bought it myself.

I think it's the biggest bang per buck you can get. I love mine! Do a search on Bigma or 50-500mm and you'll get lots of info. Very popular with birders and safari types.
Capable of fine performance, particularly when well supported. Can be more difficult to get a super sharp shot hand held as is reasonably heavy and the length makes hand shake more obvious. I am thinking about the 80-400mm OS, but feels it takes very, very slightly inferior shots ... but the OS will enable it to possibly take more decent shots overall when handheld. If you need the extra 100mm, go Bigma. If you want the security of OS then go 80-400. I've resisted the change as I like my Bigma so much ...
You can find a shot at 50mm here, incl. 100% crop:

If you want a longer one then these taken at 300mm or so:

... and the Otter below taken at 400mm or so yesterday hand held. The Rhino taken at 500mm also hand held. Tripod or beanbag mounted will be sharper.
