Is there any way to not have my 20D place the images in separate folders. I know that it does this when I shoot over 100 images (it changes the folder) but I would love if it didn't do this. I've checked the C. Fn but did not observe anywhere to make the change. Maybe I'm being too critical or I should rethink the manner in which I'm handling workflow, but I just need one big folder with all the images if that's possible. Thanks for your comments!:)

Greetings Shawn-
I know what you mean as my -1D dumps everything into one folder and my little used -10D puts them into seperate folders and it drives me nuts! Finding an answer to this is my next project for the -10D and hopefully by mid-week I'll know what the answer is.

I shot a wedding today and noticed it for the first time. It's probably been this way from the beginning and for some unknown reason I must have had a spurt of clear thinking today when I saw the separate folders. Makes it definately more difficult to review images during a momentary lag at a wedding. Thanks for your reply.

No, you can't alter it. Get DIM from http://alanlight.com and you'll not notice it ever again. You need a card reader to use DIM, which is generally a better idea anyway.

I use Downloader Pro from http://www.breezesys.com. It's $US29.95 but gives complete control of file naming and placement. You save $10 if bought with BreezeBrowser Pro.
