I think these would both look better withou HDR, but with a wide angle and a CPL.

I like the first one; the HDR there brings out the colors. The second one is simply hopeless. Everything is flat and so haloed, it hurts.

Thanks guys.. I appreciate the comments.. actually got more likes of the second from the guys at the station.. they like the surreal look most didnt like the wide angle versions I showed they said the trucks don't look like that.. Go figure.. Don't like the wide angle from distortion.. and yet liked the overprocessed one.

Go figure! I like that processing on the firt shot, very nice. Now let's see some night fire shots with lights from the trucks and smoke in the air!

I agree, HDR here seems to wash out the image.
