I don't know if the following image constitutes a "good or decent" portrait, but I'm asking if you'll post yours with a few words explaining your technique.

I believe by looking at verious portraits and how they're composed will help me (and others) understand what an image needs to have in order to be considered a good portrait.

I'm not focussing on content (in this one) but mostly composition. Of course -- all aspects of what a good portrait needs (with examples if possible) will be humbly appreciated.

Dave

Also wondering if it's acceptible not to show the subject's "entire body" when doing portraits. Something like this...

Would this be considered an "acceptible" portrait?
