It's normal growth though this part of the plant has dried out and has turned from green to yellow.

Th plant that this is from is not native to Oz, it's common in many countries but not everyone is going to have it. Cockatoos, galahs, rainbow lorikeets and rosellas love whats inside of me.

Don't worry, you were not right :) And like I said in the PM plenty would gladly post a new image on your behalf. Also you dont actually need a macro lens to take macro shots. Turning a lens around can give you macro shots for example. Lots of info out there on how to do it.
Edit: I see you have the nifty fifty, a perfect candidate for reversing for a macro shot.

First image (forgive the excessive compression pls ;) ) is the my almond tree from which I pulled the pod. The rubble you see there is from my kitchen renovations I'm doing.
The second image is a photo of the pod of which an almond would have been inside of before a Cockatoo or Galah had eaten it :) (the hole is on the other side) It has turned yellow/black b/c it has dried out.

I guess what I just said is irrelevant. I know the hands and hour markers are luminous but wasn't sure about the dive time scale.

it is not breakfast food and it has been cooked. Lots of delicious food don't look good, for instance, the interior of a crab or a snail, or a British stew. (it's none of those, by the way)
Actually, a minute minority of Singaporeans may cook it as part of a soup eaten during breakfast, but usually they omit it.

I got a kenko 1.4x teleconverter sent from HK in the last few days and thought I would try it out. Here it is with the Tami 90mm at F11. Crop is 100% pixies.

When you look at it with a naked eye you don't see these scratches.
