I'm not sure what it is but i found some dust on your lens, top right hand corner. I can see diffraction rings around it- an inverse airy disk, is thats what it's called, I dunno.
Is this object used daily?

It's an opening, but there's no metal in it.
Looks like the groove of a finger grip for something.

Probably crud on the sensor. The rings are probably compression artefacts.
Is this object used daily?
Some folks use these daily.

No.. the object in the picture is not edible. It is something most of use used every day, but not necessarily handled very often. Somewhat recently though, it has been replaced, but many are still around and being used.

How can I get more specific about prongs on a plug? The metal spades that go into the outlet, that passes electricity to appliances and such.

You're right.. I didn't notice that. It is like the coin a few weeks ago that had concave dimples.. they looked convex to me. It is really funny in this game that everyone thinks they have something that will be really easy..

I thought it looked hollow, too - and that it had "windings" of wire around it. The windings must be the reflection of the inside of the plug! It also looked like "solder" on the tip of the first one.
Cool shot.

I used camera flash for it... with build by my self diffuser to transfer the light on the object...
