OK now that it is asked, answer is tricky.
I know of some ladies who turned their engagement diamond ring into this and got a good marital aid, but surely won't advise this to any gentleman photographer as they may get badly burned. So answer is Yes and No depending on situation.

The bats here in Hampshire are starting to make appearances now the weather's getting a little warmer.
Sad story; I run my school flyfishing club and last year, I was fishing in the morning and I saw something flapping around in circles over the river underneath a tree. Waded in and had a look at it, and it turned out to be a bat that had tried to eat an old fishing fly that was hanging from a bit of nylon line under this tree I guess it had just picked it up on 'sonar' and thought it was food. I cut it down and brought it to the bank, but it died in my hands :( They're so fragile and it must just have exhausted itself...
